21 March 2002	A postcode survey was carried out at Dunbar station to gauge where passengers came from to convince bus operators to operate connecting trains

April 2002	RAGES proposes a local Dunbar service timetable	Report in The Rages Rag issue 13

May 2002	The 23:00hrs Edinburgh to Dunbar service is withdrawn	Report in The Rages Rag issue 14

25 May 2002	Committee members met a representative of Railtrack to discuss the possible site of a new Reston Station	Report in The Rages Rag issue 14

30 May 2002	RAGES invited to talk to Gullane Area Community Council	Report in The Rages Rag issue 14

May 2002	A petition is started in Reston and surrounding areas for the re-opening of Reston station

June 2002	Newcraighall and Brunstane stations opened as part of a CrossRail for Edinburgh. ScotRail operates the service.

29 September 2002	Virgin introduce for trains stopping at Berwick

29 September 2002	Car parking charges introduced at Dunbar station
