15 March 2003	New ScotRail franchise reduced to four bidders

19/20 April 2003	Buses again for North Berwick service to allow Dolphinstone works to be completed and bring services brought back to normal

7 August 2003	CRAG announce their proposals for Crossrail 2 which would provide a service from North Berwick/Dunbar to Newcraighall via Waverley, Haymarket and anti-clockwise round the South Suburban line

29 August 2003	RAGES meets with National Express (ScotRail) to discuss our aspirations for the new franchise
