Dunbar station, in second place, has been given a commendation as part of the National Rail Awards shortlist in the Best Small Station of the Year category.   Berwick-Upon-Tweed Station came second in the medium sized station category.

The GNER Dunbar service cuts as above will be replaced by Virgin cross country services.
